Job Description:

Perfect Personnel are looking for a Commercial Assistant to work in a growing roof space company based in Alcester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking for a new venture working for a company that values each member of staff and provides training where necessary.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with the following:
- Experience of reading / understanding architectural drawing
- Experience of Microsoft Office package (Outlook / Access / Word / Excel predominantly)
- Excellent communicator both internally and externally, written and verbal
- Able to work under own initiative
- Organised and able to manage own workload
- A*-C grade in English and Maths at GCSE level or similar

Key responsibilities and incompatibilities
- Book in incoming enquiries onto a master spreadsheet
- Assess enquiry/tender packs to ensure it has the following:-
o Elevations
o Sections
o Floor Plans
o Street Scenes
o Site Layouts
- Where above information is required, contact client accordingly and record on spreadsheet and monitor / chase
- Where external product is required (i.e. roof trusses / dormers / chimneys) send relevant drawings and information to suppliers for quoting and monitor / chase as required
- Update Master Spreadsheet when quotes are issued to the client and monitor progress, report on won/lost in the month
- Call off process, when specific plots are called off into the system, ensure all relevant information is completed to allow commercial/ design department to complete necessary tasks
- When specific plots are called off, interpret the information you have to specify ancillaries [dormer/ chimneys/ windows] to enable the procurement department to purchase, this is a time dependant task and must be done within 3 days of receiving the call off.
- Where revisions are required, again ensure relevant information is collated and where applicable carry out the quote revision under the supervision of one of the Estimators.
- Ancillary matrix' - by liaising with the supplier ensure any changes are made to this document to ensure we are working with the most up to date information.
- Act as a key point of contact, liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders; delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensure full compliance with Company health, safety, security and environmental standards

This role is a permanent vacancy. The shifts are Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm

The salary for this role as a commercial assistant is between 18k and 23k depending on the experience.
